Real Life Experiences at Brightkidz

At BrightKidz Preschool, we bring the outside world into the nursery through exciting, hands-on learning experiences. Children have the chance to meet real professionals like:

Police Officers

Help children understand safety, trust and the role of community helpers. Visits often include seeing uniforms, vehicles, and learning how police keep us safe.

Firefighters

Inspire curiosity and awareness about fire safety. Children love seeing the fire engine and learn what to do in an emergency.

Dentists

Teach children about oral hygiene. These visits encourage children to feel confident about dental care.

Animal Vets

Helping children learn about caring for living things and exploring nature up close.

Nurses / Paramedics

Help children understand health, caring for others, and what to expect when visiting medical professionals.

Our Activities

Exciting Weekly Activities

Fun, engaging sessions designed to build confidence, creativity, digital skills, and physical wellbeing through music, ICT, sports, and yoga.

Music & Movement

Our weekly Music & Movement sessions are full of energy, fun and creativity! Children explore rhythm, sound and expression through singing, dancing, musical instruments and action songs. These sessions help build confidence, coordination, listening skills and self-expression all while having lots of fun together.

ICT Classes

Our weekly ICT sessions introduce children to technology in a fun and age-appropriate way. Using tablets, interactive games, and child-friendly software, children develop early digital skills such as problem-solving, coordination and basic computer literacy all while exploring, learning and having fun safely.

Sports & Yoga

Each week, children take part in exciting Sports and Yoga sessions that support both their physical and emotional development. From running, jumping and ball games to stretching, breathing and mindful movement, these activities help build coordination, strength, focus and self-confidence. Our sessions encourage healthy habits, teamwork, and a sense of calm all in a fun and supportive environment.

Phonics & Songs

Our Phonics and Songs sessions make early literacy fun and interactive! Through singing, rhymes, actions and sound games, children learn to recognise letters and sounds, helping to build strong foundations for reading and speaking. These playful sessions boost language skills, listening, and confidence all while having a great time.

Literacy

Our Literacy sessions help children develop a love for stories, books, and communication. Through storytelling, mark-making, group reading, and interactive activities, children build early reading and writing skills while improving vocabulary, imagination, and confidence in expressing themselves.

PHYSICAL Development

Our Physical Development activities encourage children to stay active, healthy, and confident in their movements. From outdoor play and obstacle courses to fine motor activities and games, children strengthen coordination, balance, control, and independence in a fun and engaging environment.

Staff Well Being

Life Cycle In Action

At BrightKidz Preschool, children learn through real, hands-on life cycle experiences that bring nature to life. From watching chicks hatch to seeing caterpillars turn into butterflies and tadpoles grow into frogs, children observe each exciting stage. Little Chefs

At BrightKidz Preschool, our cooking and gardening sessions are fun, hands-on ways for children to explore the world while developing important life skills.

During cooking activities, children learn to follow simple instructions, measure ingredients, and talk about textures, smells and tastes. Whether it’s making fruit kebabs, vegetable wraps, or baking simple biscuits, these sessions encourage independence, healthy eating, and confidence in the kitchen.

Love For The Outdoors
